This project would not be possible without your personal stories. Please consider adding yours to the archive. Here is how:

  1. Write in English or Farsi.

  2. Share a bit of what conjures up in your mind when you think of your Iran.

    • Make it Personal: “My Iran is my summer trips to Shiraz, seeing my cousins and talking about our dating life.”

    • Don’t generalize: “My Iran is art and culture and food”

  3. Optional: sign your first name or Initial.

  4. Please note that responds will be reviewed to meet guidlines and will be added to a new section on this website soon.

 FAQs

  • This project was started by an independent Iranian American artist in hopes to unify the Iranian community around our love and concern for our beloved Iran and to show a human dimension of this beautiful land to non-Iranians.

  • This project is currently funded by the founding artist.

  • The hope is that this project becomes a collaboration with other Iranian artists, working with a range of media such as video, music, and art. Ideally it will eventually find a physical gallery space to be shown and experienced.
